Venus is the second planet in our solar system. It is easy to observe Venus with the 'naked eye', especially at morning or evening twilight. sometimes it's called the morning star or the evening star. it is the fourth brightest 'object' in the sky, the first is the sun, the moon and ISS (since the STS-119 mission).

Venus is not interesting for space agency's because of the dense and acid atmosphere. the surface consist out of two big 'dry lands' laying in seas of lava. the surface doesn't have any tectonic plates because the planet is relatively young. The NASA had never lander or rover missions to Venus but the CCCP did. the most of the Verena landers did not even reach Venus, but the Verena've send some picture's from the surface to earth.
